Jonathan castro
Head Coach
Hello, My name is Jonathan Castro. I am a Washington native that now has the pleasure to call Arizona home. I have three children that started playing soccer in 2021, one of which I coach. I grew up in the soccer world, playing competitive and travel soccer throughout my youth. I was able to enjoy many adventures, and I learned many life lessons through the sport.

I was blessed with some amazing coaches in my youth, and it is my mission to be the same for the young athletes I coach. I believe in a straight forward approach to soccer. Strong team support, family support and foundational skills that are perfected; build the path for creative, consistent and strong-minded players.

Competitive sports has always been in my life. I grew up playing football, basketball and hockey. Sports helped to keep me focused and out of trouble. Through the years I’ve had several coaches and mentors who helped me along in life and I have always wanted to pass that energy along. I’m a community volunteer, father to two fantastic children and overall a person very passionate about helping people make positive impacts in life. Soccer has become a huge part of our life over the past ten years and I’m beyond grateful to be working with this staff to help provide mentorship, leadership and the necessary skills to further these kids progression in life and Futbol!
